The New Soilmec SR-45 Piling Rig is in Turkey

Soilmec SR-45 is finally in Turkey after it started its production 4 years ago.

Almost all foundation industries technology started in Soilmec’s dynamic and creative design department.

Soilmec cooperated with the top-level design group, Porche Design and this proved their claim to being the only leader in their area of expertise.

SR-45 is the first production of Soilmec’s new BlueLine series. Soilmec piling rigs new line is much lighter with the new significant use of special steel.
SR-45 was designed to subsitute the worlds leading piling rig model, SR-60. Although, SR-45 is 42 tons in weight, and SR-60 is 67 tons. SR-45’s new rotary, new cabin, new mast, and new pull down winch system has been the most chosen model in USA, Europe and Australia in the past 4 years.

Open House 2017 was organized at the Soilmec factory in May 2017. Alongside the Turkish Group of visitors was Ideal Zemin, and they were very attracted to SR-45 and its show at the testing site. Right after returning to Turkey, Ideal Zemin signed an agreement with the leasing and started their buying process to be the first company to own a SR-45 in Turkey.

 

SR-45 is its class’ strongest machine; transportation with an attached kelly, new rotary and 19 000 kgm torque, fast movement and turning and most importantly, the 24 tons of push/pull power.

Alongside all of these new features, Soilmec’s new design of the hydrolic system eliminates all the power transmission losses and therefore is very fuel efficient. SR-45 is the markets lowest consuming piling rig.

Current market has very low price per pile, transportation very high, therefore a fuel efficient, easy -10 minute- transportable SR-45 will be in high demand among the Turkish Pilers.
