21st Geofluid 2016 drilling and foundation exhibition GEOFLUID has that taken place in Piacenza from 5 to 8 October 2016 . The Geofluid exhibition was a unique occasion for participants to update their professional knowledge and learn about the latest technologies and anticipating market trends about drilling and foundation technologies. With each organization of GEOFLUID exhibitors stands are getting smaller and bringing less machineries and accecories. Also the international participants volüme has been dramatically reduced.

The 21st edition of Geofluid is turning out to be a local
Italian fair. The exhibition covers underground fluids, geotechnical, soil
investigation and well drilling, foundations and piling, trenchless technologies,
tunnel excavation and underground works. It is taken between Oct. 5 through 8
at the Piacenza Expo exhibition center in Piacenza, Italy.

Many leading companies in the exhibition reference sectors
had joined with small stands in GEOFLUID, according to a press release from the
conference organizers. 200 exhibitors participated on 23,000 square
meters of exhibition space.The biggest paticipant was Soilmec Spa bring newest technology waterwell rigs and New generation Mini dirlling rigs.

There were many conferences, meetings, technical seminars
and workshops but participation was limited. GEOFLUID is a 4 day event being
held from 5th October to the 8th October 2016 at the Piacenza Expo SpA in
Piacenza, Italy. This event showcases product from Power, Renewable Energy
& Energy Conservation industry.

GEOFLUID is an exhibition that is dedicated to drilling and
foundation technologies and machinery and services for the industries. However
the main problem is every year the organization seems less and less
Professional. Piecenza is a city that has difficulties for reaching from
Airport and accomodation quality and number of hotels are not enough for the
GEOFLUID to grow. For an International organization Fair, land is very limited
and facilities are very poor compared to the international scale.

GEOFLUID would be the better if it specialized on: Deep
drilling technologies, directional drilling rigs, drilling equipment,
environmental analysis equipment, geotechnical surveying, land reclamation,
pumps, tunneling equipment, tunnelling machines and foundation machineries. The
organizers should consider gathering every 2 years and start looking for a new
place which is nearby to one of the international airports and modern
facilities for the fair.
